R.Z.P.
















This is the concept art we made for our penguin (who has yet to be named)we were experimenting with different types of zombie deformation ranging from skeletons to open brain surgery we did different things with his eye stem and his brains and how he would work in the logo we also determined that he will have the “Classic zombie walk” were he reaches in front walking while drooling, we are currently trying to name the little zombified mutant freak but are struggling to do so but every mascot needs a name so will venture on and find one.

We looked at already famous logos and pointed out what we liked about them some like the GTA logo features a lot of text for a just logo, yet still it can be recognised by millions we noticed that the most recognisable ones were eye catching and therefore more memorable we pointed out different styles we found that everyone who looked at the images always asked about the skull face and the nun first witch were quite controversial and people noticed them more so we decided that having a radioactive zombie penguin was eye catching as people will wonder what is wrong with us and we will be more memorable by force and the radiation symbol has at least some explanation to why the penguin is a zombie

Our team made a brainstorm of ideas for our logo explaining why we are called radioactive zombie penguins, radioactive because were tenacious and full of creative energy and probably bad for your health, zombies because we spend all day staring at computer screens and penguins because we work as a team plus the concept of a zombified penguin was funny to us, we also discussed shapes and colours such as basic colours like yellow for the radiation red for blood green for zombie flesh and got the basic design of our logo made we also started looking at different fonts, we also added points like what features should be on it like glow effects and what the penguin should look like and how graphic it should be.

This is a simple environment I made in 3d max by first making a black and white 512x512, then I created a plane in max with a high resolution, then using a displace modifier using the black and white image to create a mountain side, then using the same texture only adding colour I was able to finish the desert landscape also there is a hidden face in the mountain range.
